New Elections Results and Statistics

It's a new system for election results presentation for the whole region of Central Greece (Sterea Hellas). It aggregated results from the five prefectures of Central Greece periphery and presented them with colored maps and tables. There is also a back-end application for defining parameters and if needed manual entry of the results.

This web application firstly was written with symfony 1.4 and propel. Later it was re-designed and developed in Symfony2, doctrine and a responsive template.

This is a system for election results presentation over the Internet. It is a distributed application. The data entry (client/server application) part is installed locally in the data collection location, where data entry is done and sent to the web server, MySQL RDBMS. The backend/backoffice system has been deployed with PHP language and a RabbitMQ messaging queue system. The web application is written in PHP, HTML, CSS - based on a Bootstrap theme.
Fthiotida Prefecture and then the Region of Central Greece, has used this system for all elections (national, European elections, municipality and prefecture elections) from 2004 till 2019.
